01 Before requesting a quotePickup and delivery addresses, ZIP codes, facility contacts, and every stop.Ready date, required delivery date, operating hours, and local time zones.Commodity, piece/pallet count, packaged length × width × height, and verified weight.Stackability, packaging, freight value, and any special handling requirements.Loading/unloading method, dock access, liftgate needs, tarping, and driver assistance.Photos/drawings for machinery; identify hazardous, temperature-sensitive, or cross-border freight.

02 Before pickupConfirm the booking, equipment, rate, and any agreed additional services with SCF.Confirm pickup/delivery appointments, reference numbers, and on-site contacts.Have freight, loading staff, equipment, and dock/yard space ready.Check the BOL against the shipment; provide all required references and instructions.Confirm free time and delay terms; tell SCF immediately about any changes.

03 Through deliveryKeep the SCF freight bill (FB) number and available tracking link handy.Notify SCF of delays; record arrival/departure times and the reason for waiting.Confirm the receiver has the agreed unloading equipment and staff.Obtain readable delivery paperwork; record visible exceptions and notify SCF promptly.Keep all document pages with the shipment references for follow-up.
